Create coupon

To create a coupon, click on the Add button in the Marketing > EasyCoupon: Coupons section. The detailed configuration opens.

Base data

Title

Define the voucher title.

Active

Defines whether the voucher is active and can be used with it.

Deduction

Absolutely

Defines absolute discount. With the option "residual value expires" - it can be determined that a possible residual value expires after the redemption of this voucher.

Percentage

Defines the percentage discount.

mode

A voucher can be created in "General" or "Individual" mode.

General

The voucher can be redeemed by any customer for the full value.

Tip

Use the Maximum Redemptions (per customer) condition to limit the number of redemptions per customer.

Individually

The voucher can be redeemed once by customers for the full value. If the voucher code is passed on, the remaining value will be taken into account.

Tip

For percentage coupons, use the Maximum Redemptions condition to limit the number of redemptions.

Attention

Only applies to vouchers with an absolute value. Percentage vouchers can be redeemed as often as you like, regardless of the Individual and General modes - as long as there are no other conditions restricting this.

code

Enter a custom code or use the Generate function. This automatically creates a voucher code from the template stored in the plugin configuration.

Product number upon redemption

This number is stored as a product number in the shopping cart item of the voucher when the voucher is redeemed.

Maximum redemption value per order

Defines the absolute limit for a deduction:

Example:

• 10% coupon
• max. redemption value = 20€
• Cart value 500€
• Normally your customer gets a 50€ deduction. However, due to the maximum redemption value, the deduction is capped at €20.

Tip

Also applies to vouchers with an absolute value. Example: 20€ per order.

Can be combined with other vouchers?

Defines whether this voucher can be redeemed with other vouchers.

Plugin configuration

Check the plugin configuration, whether the combination of coupons is allowed globally.

Valid until

Define the validity of the voucher.

Activate shipping cost allocation

Should the shipping costs be covered by the voucher? This only works if the coupon value should not cover the remaining cart value.

Redemption Conditions

Define the conditions under which a voucher can be redeemed. If no conditions were selected, the voucher can always be redeemed.

Please note: These terms do not define the cart items to which the coupon will be applied. These conditions decide only whether the voucher can be placed in the shopping cart or not.

If the voucher can be added to the shopping cart, the voucher will be applied to all products - unless there is a limit set by the "Maximum redemption value per customer" option.

Tag

Optional: Assign tags to the coupon.

Comment

Here you can add an internal comment to the voucher.

As soon as you have entered all data, click on save. The voucher is now ready for use.
